Website Designer
We are looking for a top-notch web designer. Mastery of Photoshop is the main tool - knowledge of HTML, CSS and other basic web development tools are a bonus - but the primary job of our designers is, well, to design.
About the Job
We're a very fast-paced place, hence, we look for designers that can leverage a library of imagery/concepts, yet put that "special touch" to make each site its unique own.
Our
environment has deadlines. You don't need to know a lot of code (we have plenty of coders here) - as mentioned above, we need you to "design."
Candidates are encouraged to show live URL examples of websites they have designed (at least three websites).
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of interactive design
- Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Effective in presenting and executing ideas within a tight schedule
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to follow direction, process artistic and technical feedback
- Knowledge of InDesign and Flash (desired but not required)
- Knowledge of HTML in relation to design limitations
- Knowledge of basic print design principles
Required Experience:
- Proven history of creating original, innovative and strategically sound web based solutions for clients
- Experience in creating and maintaining the look and feel of various websites while pushing to achieve the highest quality possible within technical limitations
- Previous experience in working with company style guides to maintain a uniform look and feel (brand image)
