Front End Developer
About the Job
We're looking for a strong front end website developer to join our team. Candidates must have a solid background in website development and possess a can-do attitude. Applicants must be flexible and ready to jump from one project onto another within the same day and manage multiple projects at one time. We are specifically looking for candidates that are strong in JavaScript (jQuery), although a solid background in HTML and CSS are also required.
Required Skills:
- Solid HTML/XHTML and CSS
- Strong JavaScript (jQuery) skills; must be able to write modify and jQuery classes; JSON Notation is a plus
- Basic knowledge of .Net and MsSQL (or) PHP and MySQL
- Basic understanding of XML / XLST
- Cross browser coding
- Good Design Sense
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (enough to slice up a PSD then render it)
Required Experience:
- Proficient in developing layouts from provided compositions (PSD or AI)
- Ability to work in JavaScript environment and with jQuery library
- Experience in debugging user interface code and cross browse issues
- Comfortable in developing within Wordpress and understand Wordpress CMS
- Detail oriented approach to html development
